About

I am Alex from Singapore and lives in the Philippines every now and then for the past 6 years. I love to travel and learn about people’s culture. One thing that I find myself really passionate about is food. I love to share my dining experience with my close friends and family. I always take pride in discovering new restaurants or food and be the first to introduce it to my friends. I love to see the sparkle in their eyes whenever they taste the food. I love to see also the pausing moment whenever someone put food in their mouth and followed with the reaction of reaching orgasm. This is the reason why I choose the name SPICEGASM for my blog.

A little bit about myself. I am Alex and currently resides all around South East Asia. I was born in Malaysia and then moved to Singapore. In recent years, I spend most of my time between Singapore, Philippines, Thailand and some other South East Asian countries.

I am not a professional writer but  decided to make this blog to serve as a personal diary on my travels and food that I have tasted. I would also like to use this blog to introduce spicy food to the Filipino community in the Philippines. Since I spent at least 6 months in a year in this beautiful country, I often cooked my own spicy food. I also get requests from my Filipino friends to cook up some spicy dishes for them occasionally. I am not a certified chef but I think my cooking is passable.

Getting the necessary spices has always been a problem for me here in the Philippines. I hope one day I can just order all the necessary spices in bulk and then set up an online store and sell the products as cheap as I can for my Filipino friends. I intend also to provide cooking videos using these special spices if I find the time.

Hope you find my blog entertaining and you are always welcome to contribute any topics that you find interesting. Have a pleasant day and good health.

Cheers,

Alex

I have a suggestion, I was eating my favorite thai dish today, called pa-nang moo, and I am going to USA very soon, and I’d like to know if you’ll take suggestions, like, your way to cook pa-nang, tell us how it turns out, if good, I’d like to give it a try while I’m in USA to give me my thai foods fixation everyday, I’ve had thai food in my hometown in America and I was absolutely disappointed and disgusted at the food there, chicken soup and they call it Tom Yum Goong, I felt insulted!!!

Please please take suggestions Alex, how am I going to eat real, good thai food when I’m in USA for 1 entire month!!!

Oh man….I think you better go to Carefour near your house and get those ready mix. Buy some coconut milk as well. Then when back in the US, all you need is meat and those ready mix. Don’t bother trying to get those funky Asian spices in Chicago man.

Hey Mark, thanks for keeping in touch and the kind words, I couldn’t sleep and in the middle of doing a post for King Chef. In fact I emailed Abigail to ask for some pictures of the event. So I can put up some really cool post.
